I am always fascinated by the ideas about sexuality and psychology that VC fic writers explore. This fic Is well written and does a good job exploring the ideas that a person who does not desire sex with men can be taught to desire sex with men by being repeatedly raped by one, and that being abused means that the victim will eventually become a perpetrator of abuse themselves.
If you are still interested, or if anyone else is interested, I would like to issue two challenges: I'd like to see you explore the first theme with a female character: Gabrielle de Lioncourt. Please assign her a butch lesbian identity and explore how being forced to bear eight children for her husband taught her to be a femme straight. For the second one, I'd like to see you explore the idea of the cyclical inevitability of a different type of abuse. Use Lestat, as he is textually the victim of repeated, severe beatings in his childhood, and show how he repeatedly, severely beat Claudia throughout hers.

What a unique and fascinating take on this relationship. Armand as both victim and victimizer is especially interesting, and Daniel's slow realization that his idealized idea of what it is to be a vampire doesnt quite hold true. Thanks for this. Write more soon!

You have succeeded in keeping me completely enthralled throughout this ENTIRE story. I love anything and everything to do with Armand/Daniel, but you my friend have have really pulled off their characters well. This might be one of the most accurate portrayals of them Ive seen in this fandom! I love your writing style too. Very Nicely done :D
